At Vackerbacka Christmas, traditional Finnish Christmas meets French-Italian style. The rooms of the old house are filled with the scent of fir and mulled wine, candles light up the twilight of the afternoon, and a succulent Sicilian orange cake awaits on the table. The Christmas tree is adorned with sparkling Eiffel Towers and pastel-coloured macarons, which are also on sale this year in the Italian-French-inspired vintage shop attached to the house.
